The Baltimore duo's second album of 2015 is even moodier than its first, with exquisite layers of ringing guitar, funereal organs, and wobbly keyboards that seem transmitted from another dimension. "Majorette" and "Common Girl" are built upon Alex Scally's silky, arpeggiating lines, while "One Thing" grooves with quivering fuzz reminiscent of My Bloody Valentine. Victoria Legrand's vocals glide with the grace of a wraith guiding you to the light; "Let us find elation," she offers, over the enchanting slow-dance sway of "Somewhere Tonight."
