I like it, I like it a lot

I am blown away by "Another Lie." I'm old enough to say it reminds me of Led Zeppelin 1, but young enough to say I've never heard anything like this before. Unreal how the pure power was captured with such tenderness.

I am also awestruck by the instrumental "Iowa." As I listen I can almost see the cornfields and county roads. It so perfectly complements the heavier-riff songs, all of which are worth their weight in gold.

"Nome Zayne", "Demons Down"; unreal how these riffs are familiar yet utterly new. Absolute applause for the songwriting, musicianship, groove and their homage to the past while forging into a place I've never been before. I'm pleased with my purchase!

right on!

I love these new Alastair Greene tunes. The Big Bad Wolf solo is awesome. The acoustic tune Rufus is gorgeous. Iowa, too! Alastair's vocals are strong, also. I'd highlight Nome Zayne, written by ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. The whole album rocks, and the guest guitar slingers nicely complement Alastair and his band. In addition to ripping blues riffs, we hear a bit of southern rock noodling, too, plus some Brit rock influence, as Alastair is fresh from playing six string with the Alan Parsons Project for seven years. Buy Dream Train!
