The rapping alter ego of comedian Howard Kremer, Dragon Boy Suede has been independently releasing albums, EPs, and singles over the last few years, including Master of Pheremonies and "I'm Not Paying $500 to Watch Douchebags Eat Turkey." Like most other comedy rappers (i.e., mc chris and MC Frontalot), Dragon Boy Suede is definitely a niche artist: he's infinitely more enjoyable if you're already a fan (or close personal friend) and not really recommended for straight-up hip-hop heads. Spastic electronic beats and ultra-zany rhymes are the order of the day, as DBS raps about drinking tea ("Chai Tea Morning"), skills with the ladies and affinity for waffles ("The Juggler"), and getting his drink on ("Booze"). Depending on your age, musical background, and threshold for over-the-top pun-heavy wordplay set to frantic computerized production, Douche Minutae is a love-it-or-hate-it album you'll either find hilariously brilliant or deeply annoying.
