Editors’ Notes Cape Town's Die Antwoord put a donk on the world with their third album, which is both comical and menacing. A molotov cocktail of ideas, Donker Mag contains loping Beastie Boys-esque raps ("Rat Trap 666," "Raging Zef Boner"), punk rallying cries over hard acid techno ("Happy Go Sucky Fucky," "Pitbull Terrier"), and a pair of darkly psychedelic love duets ("Strunk," Aphex Twin-sampling "Ugly Boy"). Crazy skits punctuate the mix, capitalizing on the yin-yang of Ninja's aggressive snarl and Yolandi Visser's creepy-cute whisper.
