Bobby vee
Loved his music and him at 12... Still do ... Music taste hasn't changed much. I listen to him and go back in time, a better time. Thanks Bobby .. A fan forever!

I was a teenager and fan with Bobby Vee was making his early hits, some of which still have a certain charm though dated. Most of the songs on this “Very Best” package are very weak and suffer from the cheesy production of the time. In particular, the orchestration is way overdone on many songs like “Run to Her”, so that Vee’s voice is all but buried in the mix. He had a pretty good pop voice, but I now listen with the feeling that he was working with songs that are poor syrupy pop and this is all lost in a time warp.
