Hilarious from the first track to the last!

Kathleen McGee shows off her comedy prowess in such a way that exhibits two things: she’s been doing this a while, and that time on stage has really meant something. Bold enough to be honest, without being guilty of an easy laugh. Her material is clever and witty, and shows that she’s a comic’s comic. She’s effortlessly edgy, it doesn’t feel contrived. In fact, she comes off so sweet, it only strengthens the turn when she takes a hard left. A good comic is relatable to *most* people, not just *one type* of person. Kathleen McGee has for sure accomplished this. I wouldn’t describe her as “a comedian that women would love” (though they would), she’s a comic that everyone should love, and fans of comedy WILL love.

With Netflix hellbent on making comedy specials both common and worthless, “Deliciously Vulgar” is a breath of fresh air. This chunk of material will hopefully stand out, far above the hack parade we get crammed down our throats nowadays. This album is funny, and charming, and at times crass and groan-inducing... and I mean that as a serious compliment. I love a comedian who’s not afraid to make her audience uncomfortable in the name of laughter.

It’s worth the $10. Buy it, fool!
