Wow really?

So let me get this straight, I have to buy ANOTHER album with music that I ALREADY HAVE, but music that’s never been released on iTunes (10th man down and End of All Hope specifically) are still “Album Only”. Pass

Good Compilation

An excellent collection of some of their best work. But it is just a compilation. There’s not really anything new or spectacular (at least...more spectacular or differently spectacular than their normal). Supposedly all of it is remastered. Perhaps keener ears than mine can pick up the differences for this to be a compelling reason to pick up this album. I bought it to support the band because they are one of my faves. Is it weird I kinda wished they’d done reimaginings of some of these songs with the amazing Floor Jansen? She’s the best and most versatile vocalist they’ve had, perhaps one of the best in the world, and I’d love to hear her sing all of these. I suppose I’ll have to settle for the live concert recordings for that. ;)

Remasters are excellent

If you listen to music on your laptop speakers, don't bother, but if you listen with good speakers or headphones and are very familiar with their music, these are excellent remasters. The Anette-era songs, which were brickwalled in the originals, sound dynamic and her vocals have more depth. The AFF songs, particularly The Carpenter, sound on par with their other work. Buy this for the remasters if you want to hear the dynamics, but if you're just looking at the track list, you're missing the point.
