14 Songs, 56 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The bulk of Richard Linklater’s budget for Dazed and Confused went to its soundtrack licensing, and it was worth every penny. This isn’t a critic’s list of ’70s classics—this is what small-time American stoners actually listened to. Indulge in Rick Derringer, Foghat, Black Oak Arkansas, and other greasy, hairy, unapologetically hedonistic pleasures of ’70s hard rock. If you weren’t lucky enough to be there, these songs will let you live it vicariously, burning rubber in a buddy’s El Camino in the school parking lot.

Good tour through some popular 70's rock. Not a ground-breaking album, but definitely has playability and great energy. I would love if it were two discs or if the rest of the soundtrack were available.

Completley Amazing Flawless Soundtrack.

Coming from a die hard Dazed and Confused fan. This is easily one of the most amazing soundtracks ever. I love the movie and the soundtrack. But iTunes is missing Even More Dazed and Confused, which is the rest of the soundtrack.
