12 Songs, 49 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Smooth jazz saxophonist Dave Koz has been in a social mood of late, following up 2013’s Summer Horns with another “Friends” effort. This time, on his third holiday album, it's mostly with singers. Johnny Mathis on a new version of “The Most Wonderful Time of Year” is a stroll down memory lane. Keeping the cheese factor relatively low, other highlights include a swinging “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!," a soulful “O Holy Night,” and a fun version of “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm.” The album fittingly culminates with Stevie Wonder leading a sing-along on “All We Need Is Love.”
