Worth it for any JPJ fan

The bass on this is great. You would expect no less from such a force behind many Zep songs. There are tracks that leave you in awe of his ability to play and write. The vocals are not why you listen to this. Shibuya Bop is just fantastic to listen to. Hoediddle is a great track that shows his use of effects. Down to the river to pray is another fantastic track that shows JPJ's love of all stringed instruments and his excellent skills. Many of the tracks are driven bass his 8 string bass. Even the odd tracks are great in their own way. If your a fan of JPJ you will not be disappointed, if your just discovering him you will see just why so many people love his work.

Thundertheif - John paul Jones

Jones isnt trying to win a popularity contest with ex band mates plant/ page, and youll find no "hit songs" on here. Jones is a multi talented musician, and writes beautiful soundscapes, and textures. his style is very eclectic. if you are a fan of pop music, theres a high chance you wont like this.
