Central Themes

All of these tracks are above average considering that they are from a video game. If you are not going to buy the album (3.99 is pretty good) then at least take a look at the tracks named "Crysis 2 Intro" and "SOS New York" as they are probably the best. Both of them contain the central musical themes from Crysis 2.

Great Price, Not So Great Soundtrack

I'll agree with some other posters that the 3.99 price for 15 songs is a great deal. What I don't agree with is the over the top "best soundtrack ever!" Sure the music was composed than the amazing Hans Zimmer, but this work I would consider more along the lines of a generic action film by Michael Bay. Everything just sounds like something I've heard before a million times.

On another note, iTunes needs to get more VG Soundtracks. I'm pretty sure if more people heard the soundtracks from Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid, they wouldn't care about the others

Very Good Music... BUT...

I heard a TV commercial about the game & it featured a Rap-like song (w/words & references to New York) so I assumed it would be included in the "Soundtrack"

Obviously I was quite disappointed when, after making an "Advanced Release Purchase" I discovered that the one song I REALLY wanted wasn't included. I guess I've re-learned an important lesson… don't buy sight-unseen (AKA-Let The Buyer Beware).

The music included in the soundtrack, however, IS well done & some even ranks close to some of the best Techno & cinematic suspense music I've heard.
