Fantastic Choices for Covers!

I'm pretty picky about covers, just to get that said and out of the way. So it carries some weight for me to then say that this is a brilliant selection of cover songs. "Chandelier" is better than the original; it starts this album perfectly and is just so stripped and raw. If you saw Selfie and the episode where Karen Gillan sings karaoke, then this cover version should resonate with you too. The rest of the album shines likewise. "Ignition (Remix)" is a throwback to R. Kelly's hit from a decade (or more?) ago; the duo play it live and have a lot of fun with the audience when they perform it. There's also "Gold Guns Girls", an alt-rock song I adore and love seeing another band recognize and appreciate. "Don't You (Forget About Me)" is always a strong choice and W+W does it justice and then some. There's also "You've Got Time", which will surely please fans of Regina Spektor and Orange is the New Black.
W+W have a refreshing sound, inspired artistry, and Patty's vocal simply delights.

Unholy mess

This is the worst cover album ever. I’m stuck listening to their horrible covers at work with disgust. HORRIBLE!!!

I was a little hesitant at first about this album. I didn’t recognize all of the songs and just wasn’t sold… THEN… I heard it… And I’ve been hooked ever since. From the haunting Chasing Cars… to the super fun Ignition (Remix). For anyone that loves covers, these are all done incredibly well and are super fun. I listen to this album constantly!
