Oh So Vibey & Passionate!

Collecting Broken Things is singer-songwriter Tim Ponzek's follow up to his recent release Hillbilly Zen (2017). Ponzek's passion and wit are once again at play in his songwriting. Collecting Broken Things opens with I Wish I Had A Blue Guitar full of vibey guitars and regrets, and is followed by the title track Collecting Broken Things, a passionate lament to lost love. Track 3 is the acoustic Poor Old Doubting Thomas, a story with a surprise ending framed by mandolin, guitar and female vocalise. In the song, That's What Mosquitoes Do, Tim reassures us that true love lasts longer than a hit and run. Collecting Broken Things ends with Black Velvet Clowns, a story of lost love with more vibey guitars and longing. Tim Ponzek is featured on piano and vibey electric guitars. He is supported by Bob Lashier (bass), Todd Chuba (drums), Mike Breen (mandolin, track 3) and Lisa Pressman (vocals).
