What Happened?

Faber Drive lost their main songwriters, not to mention their signature sound with the departure of their lead guitarist. What happened to these guys!? they were such a talented band! this dance stuff has GOT TO GO. Faber Drive was on track to being a band remembered for years to come, now they are just a part of the fad. "G-Get Up and Dance" might as well be the new "Hokey Pokey"! Not to mention the production cannot be matched to the last album. If anything, Faber Drive hasn't lost their ballad craft. If you are a balad fan, check out songs like "You and I Tonight" and don't waste your time with this album. Major bummer.

This album is really different from the previous one. Seven Second Surgery was more touching than this.
I mean, it's good and I'ma go buy it sooner or later, but it just doesn't match up with their first album....at all. I miss the old band =/

Faber Drive's first album was great, lets all admit it. Most of their songs are most played in my library. And sure, their sound has changed a lot and they've taken a new sound to their music but that doesn't mean its bad. Sure, its a little more techno/electronic. But does that mean you have to say that its disappointing? No. Try listening to it and give it a chance. I know I like this album and I seriously like FD. Their old sound was great and I loved it. And I've seen them live, and they're amazing. Not to mention, they're great with their fans and definitely down to earth. But this new look on music is great and I hope they don't change completely because their old ways were what made them the band they are now.
