Brothers Osborne’s 2023 self-titled fourth album was the duo’s biggest yet. So it’s fitting that John and TJ Osborne would want to celebrate that LP, doing so with a four-track EP boasting two new songs and highlighting two Brothers Osborne standouts. Both the title track and “Get to Movin’ Again” are outtakes from the Brothers Osborne sessions, nodding at the stylistic experimentation that defines that album. “Break Mine” opens the EP, and should land in future live sets thanks to its sweeping arrangement and emphasis on melody. “Get to Movin’ Again” is a raw, spirited call for keeping it moving in the face of hardship, with some beefy acoustic licks from John. Album cuts “We Ain’t Good at Breaking Up” and “Back Home” are reprised here, making for a four-pack tailor-made for recruiting new fans of the duo’s ever-expanding take on the country genre.
