Not The Same

Jared Weeks (vocals) left and Scotty Austin took his place. Michael McManus (drums) left as well. The sound is very very different. I didnt find any of the sound on here worth playing again.

Different, in a good way

Don’t get me wrong, I liked Jared Weeks as the singer, but it seems like Saving Abel wanted to go in a direction that gave their music more of an edge. It is different, but the roots of their sound is still the backbone of the band. If you can look past the over use of the vox box on several songs, then you’re fine. Overall, this is a solid rock album worth listening to and having in your collection.

Still rockin!

Jared Weeks was insane for leaving the band and I was pretty sure that Saving Abel would be dead after his departure, but I really do like the new guy. It's not the same and, honestly, why should we expect a copy cat? The band is going in another direction for sure, but they still rock. It's definitely an improvement from "Bringing Down the Giant." Saving Abel is still rockin!
