Well, well, well... iTunes finally offers its US customers the lovely Leona's first single off her debut album. Luckily I already have the entire album and it is by far one of the best albums that I have heard in a really long time. You will not believe me until you hear it yourself. Striking ballads such as Footprints in the Sand, Homeless, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face (a cover), Here I am, and Yesterday showcase the amazing Mariah-esque vocal abilities that won her the title on last season's X-Factor in the UK. Some noteable upbeat tracks include the catchy tunes The Best You Never Had, Take a Bow, and Angel (which was produced by Stargate, the production team behind the ever successful Irreplaceable by Beyonce and Chris Brown's new single With You). Let's hope that iTunes makes her album available ASAP; otherwise, they're making a huge mistake. This girl is destined for stateside success...guaranteed. Honestly, Bleeding Love is great but only a sample of other great pop gems that she flawlessly delivers. Check her out on YouTube if you need more proof!!

Welcome to America!

X-Factor winner Leona Lewis' first single, Bleeding Love is from her debut album Spirit.

If this song does not reach the sucess it has in the UK then I will be shocked!

This song is very catchy, has very meaningful lyrics, and is just all in all an amazing mainstream pop song.

They Try To Pull Me Away, But They Don't Know The Truth

Leona Lewis, the British winner of X-Factor, a American Idol version for our dear friends over the ocean. Leona does resemble Mariah Carey a bit with her voice, but in my opinion, Leona's voice is much more lucious and strong. "Bleeding Love" is a melo-dramatic song based upon following her heart and not listening to whoever is telling her the guy she wants and loves isn't for her. This song has been such a huge a success in the United Kingdom, and I feel she'll get just as much attention in the United States. Leona also just shot a new version of "Bleeding Love" for the U.S., and the video was shot in New York City, which will become watchable on January 14, 2008. Her debut 'Spirit' will be available in the U.S. on March 18th, 2008. HOPEFULLY we'll get some different songs from her U.K. released edition.
