EDITORS’ NOTES

Recorded after a six-year hiatus from his solo career and on the heels of his marriage to Iman, this record bursts with Bowie’s newly inspired creative ambition. Propulsive hip-hop and house beats fuse with the effusive melodies of ‘60s R&B on sophisticated urban soul tracks like "You've Been Around,” while intricately layered percussion melds with minor-key synths on the apprehensive “Jump They Say” and the trip-hop-inspired “Nite Flights,” making us want to turn our living room into our own private dance floor.

Underrated

One of Bowie's many underrated albums. Bought this years ago while living in Singapore and listened to it on crappy stereo systems from time to time. New Arcam amp and bluesound system are bringing it to life the way he and the producers would have intended it.

He's the cat's whiskers!!!!

It's storming this early morning & I lost my old cassette copy of this. Can fall asleep happy now :)

iTunes failed

Itunes took away the album of this I had bought and won't recognize that I have already purchased the first version of this album I had. I didn't have the 2003 remastered bs tagged on each song. I own these songs to use. F
