Fundamentally sound

I was so disappointed when Jeff left the band took awhile for me to get over, this is before I had seen them live with Ally and Jake. Two shows later with Black sheep being added to the table im grinning ear to ear again. I can listen to Black Sheep song by song from track 1 to the end and never even begin to want to skip forward. Jeff had stage presents and could pick like no other but Jake and Ally are unbelievable and give Ymsb a fresh sound. Love this band😄

I don't recommend purchasing the full album.

Tracks five through eight would have made a great EP for me. Unfortunately, they weren't released as an EP. I found the vocals and lyrics on the other six songs of this album uninspiring, and in addition to uninspriring vocals and lyrics on those songs, the music on the tenth track feels soulless, tacky and uninteresting. Save for the aforementioned four songs that I like, the rest seems inauthentic if it is meant to be bluegrass or country. I don't recommend purchasing the full album.

Ehhh what happened

Honestly, I've been so disappointed with yonder for years now. Elevation and Town by Town were such beautiful works of art that scratched your soul. And not to forget the first few Mountain tracks were stunningly amazing. Still listen to these like they were just released. Truly timeless. Something got lost along the way with Yonder. (Obviously Jeff) but something was lost long before he left. Really a shame.
