My God.....

As a huge HUGE Nile fan, I gotta say this is up there with "Annihilation of the Wicked." Nile is known for the speed and catchy egyptian theme parts and this one does not dissapoint. Black Seeds is one of the albums you really should have if you don't already.

Red Devil 82 ,

One of the most original acts in death metal

This was the first album I bought from Nile, and it is still one of my favorites. The combination of inhumanly brutal death metal, and the mysteries of ancient Egypt, make this one hell of an album. My two favorites would have to be Masturbating the War God, and To Dream of Ur; but get the entire album because it is truely a listening experience.

murky but awesome.

first thing's first. this album has very murky production. I personally love it, but many will be turned off by it. the individual notes tend to blur together, for a distinct sound among their discography. it brings a dense catacomb of Egyptian death metal sound, interspersed with Egyptian-style instrumentals and interesting chants (in Egyptian). even then, the skill with which they play is evident, and the interesting lyrical themes abound. definitely comes highly recommended.
