The next logical step

Bryan Ferry has been perfecting his louche lounge lizard persona for his whole career, so it's logical that he should offer a jazz band version of some of his greatest hits. They translate well to a Dixieland setting. My disappointment was that the samples of my favorite Ferry/Roxy songs here don't have any of his singing. It took me until the 5th sample to confirm that this wasn't an instrumental outing with him (possibly) sitting quietly playing piano. But otherwise, this style is a good fit for him, however disappointing it is that he doesn't have another great Ferry/Roxy style record ih his bag of tricks. Still, he's the kind of performer who rewards a listener who signed on long ago to follow every artistic turn he takes in music.

Classic as always. Ferry is dah bomb.

Always reinventing himself. Would have prefered a new album but instead gave us a take of old songs with a big twist. Excellent.

Ultra - Lounge... Ferry remains a one-and-only, even after so many miles having gone by.
