Editors’ Notes Nearly a decade into their careers and with growing families, the Nashville quartet's third album wrestles with balancing the magic of touring and the pull to get back home. Full of wistful highway anthems built on breezy three-part harmonies, Greetings from the Neon Frontier winks at some of rock’s greatest highwaymen—the Eagles (“Wildfire"), the Allman Brothers (“Big Sky"), and Tom Petty (“Stand by You”)—but producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town) grasps onto the band’s country roots, evoking heartbreak with a devastating blend of weepy fiddle and pedal steel ("Two Broken Hearts”).
