Will last for years to come.

The formulation of Murderdolls started back around the time of Slipknot's Iowa, in 2001/2002. The Rejects, the earlier incarnation of Murderdolls, started before Slipknot. This is why it should come as no surprise that Beyond the Valley was released: it was going to happen eventually, one way or another.

A big misconception about the recording of this album was that the whole band was intact during the process. Wednesday and Joey did it themselves (we won't count Tripp in this because he just doesn't count) entirely, then added in the other members. So what you're listening to is the pure, unaltered brainchild of the dynamic duo. Wednesday's twisted humor and horror-movie lyrics + Joey's talent = pure genius.

Every song is amazing; I couldn't sing the praises of any particular songs without discrediting the others. I truly believe this album will stand the test of time, which is what the Murderdolls were going for. Whether or not it will stand the test of time with its audiences is a whole 'nother story. But I can see myself blasting this cd when I'm 70, and I think every other true Murderdolls fan would say the same thing.

It's questionable whether or not the band will reform in the future, and my honest answer is no. The band members have definitely moved on, and I don't think that's a bad thing. That way, this record will live on and leave behind a legend of its own.

Leave it to Wednesday and Joey to make a Clean Lyric album but not take out the cuss words. Haha. You guys rock.
