Not to be missed.

This is a beautiful, raw, anointed, and truthful album. Lyrics that shower His love down with every note. "Find Me"--->❤️😭❤️😭❤️. In a very rough season of life, this album is a deep breath, a reconnection, a pause with Jesus in the middle of the chaos that can sometimes be life. Thank you, Jonathan and Melissa and Bethel Music. Another timely piece executed with a beautiful anointing.

Bethelized ;)

I have to agree with another reviewer, here. This has all the spit and polish of a great radio friendly album (and the Helsers deserve to be heard on the radio), but their raw "we're just worshipping in a room together" otherness of what made their music such a breathe of fresh air is completely stripped. Everyone uses pitch correction plugins, but the combo of having what sounds like 5 compressors and perfect tuning, just doesn't come across as an authentic representation of their voice.
I use to actually find great encouragement in that Jonathan and Melissa weren't your American Idol kind of voices but yet let out this hurricane of praise with their voice nonetheless. Others will really like the production and mixing on this, and thats just fine. Reviews are about opinions:)
I would have greater concerns about what production and mixing decisions reveal about motivation and mission. When Bethel's live stuff is clearly not live (and yeah I get most "live" worship albums are redubbed or rehearsal takes are use), and when only the sexy or the hip are being projected from the platforms and videos what is the person watching/listening supposed to take away from it?
I get that's just how the world works, but it isn't 2006 anymore. Bethel's not trying to break into the worship conversation anymore, right now they set it in evangelical America. Give us a different way, Bethel! Please, we need it modeled! Its not going to sell as well, and may even be rejected. You've introduced so many middle of the road evangelicals to the prophetic and spontaneity in worship that never would have heard it. Now can you help model moving us out of performancism?

The Helsers Don't Jack Around...

So grateful for these guys. Solid song-writing, authentic worship. Have been seriously unimpressed with what's been coming out of Bethel Music, Bethel LIve, and Jesus Culture over the last few years. But, this album is a winner.
