It's common knowledge that a great score can make an average movie seem better than it is. But what happens when you combine a visceral, hypnotic, punch-to-the-gut film with an absolutely brutal and brilliant score? You get Beasts of No Nation. I have to admit, this score carries much more weight once you listen to it after watching the film. There are no weak or filler tracks. Each piece convincingly matches a pivotal arc in the film perfectly. If you've seen the movie, I dare you listen to "A Song for Strika" and fight back the tears. I'm glad I have this in my library, but after watching the movie and having a few turns of this soundtrack, it's been an emotionally draining 24 hours.

Excellent soundtrack for an indescribable movie.

The music added so much to the film. If you haven’t seen it, it’s worth a month’s subscription for this movie alone.
