Our Generation's Premier R&B Sex Vixen.

Easily better than last year's "Fantasy Ride". Why? This listen is notetabally more cohesive, has a clear theme and the material feels more authentic. With production from the industry's best, Tricky Stewart And The-Dream, it's starting to become clear that Ciara is finding her sound and her spot in the industry. Nobody has done sensual R&B this good since Janet was around and kicking. Keep up the good work Ciara!

the old ciara is back but...

we waited almost 6 months after 'ride' for this album, she postponed the album's release a hundred time and when we finally get it, it comes with only 11 tracks, I was waiting for 16 at least :(

Ciara is Back!

Ciara definitely brought it back to the basics with this album. It seemed like she left her original identity in music with her last effort, "Fantasy Ride" (2009), and thats probably the most probable reason for its commercial failure. When Ciara first came out with her 3X Platinum album, "Goodies", back in 2004, people were craving her infectious dance music. The first 3 singles were all number one hits and Ciara had everyone screaming "Go Ci Ci, Go Ci Ci, Go". That is what was missing. That special bond Ciara had with fans. She has returned to her roots to fill that whole in music. Music latley has turned to the pop, techno, David Guetta vibe, but not Ciara. This is what makes her unique and a stand out artist. "Basic Instinct" highlights her true goal as an artist; to keep the party jumping. The stand out tracks include "Heavy Rotation" and "Turn It Up" feat. Usher. (Must Listen). Im glad to see that our girl from the A is back.
