At it again..

Even in a Christmas effort, these guys prove once again why they are the best group in the genre and deserve recognition beyond metal. Sleddin’ Hill has been out for a couple years now and is excellent - every song has its own complex structure, key changes, impressive riffs, and most notably, non-metal interludes. This year’s single -Joy to the World- does not disappoint. The opening guitar is some beautiful finger picking and the screamed vocals are a first for the album and are extremely fun, despite my general preference to not have screaming in Christmas songs.

Three years and counting that my holiday season will be blessed by ABR!

This is one of my personal favorite albums from August Burns Red. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, and great guitar solos as well. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album from August Burns Red.

I bought this album two years ago.

I love this band. These songs are amazing. However, this is quite literally the same album I bought two years ago. ..with two new songs. Those two new songs are awesome! ..but I'd essentially be paying $5 per song for them.
