Purpose and Form

This is Melodic Death Metal. Aged 20 years in a cool, dark dungeon. Dig your teeth into it for a smooth texture and sharp taste; the eerie noir aroma of loss, and small crystalline packets of intensely satisfying flavor. An existential angst that presses on the intelligence and overstimulates the senses. Never felt quite so good..

This is an excellent album. Not the best of their albums in my opinion, but for a group this far along in their careers, this is solid, accessible, intelligent, and right in character. These guys have their own sound and style and haven’t lost a step. Every track is real good and genuinely delivered.

Good

I bought fiction and loved it so I thought I would add another dt album to the mix. This one isn’t bad. Most of the songs are steadily paced whereas fiction has a lot more tempo changes. Just depends what you like I guess.
