Yet we have another so-called Aretha Franklin "collection." Okay, that's cool but the many of us who truly revere Franklin's Atlantic output know that there is a whole slew of albums she recorded for Atlantic after "Let Me In Your Life" in 1974 until her departure in 1979. These albums--"With Everything I Feel In Me" (1974), "You" (1975), "Sweet Passion" (1977), "Almighty Fire" (1978), "LaDiva" (1979)--have been languishing in moth balls for far too long! Whether it is Franklin's decision not to have these albums re-released or that they weren't considered "commercial" successes it is a doggone shame to deprive us of the chance to hear the Queen in her entirety. Her game at Atlantic didn't stop at "Sparkle"! I guarantee if Atlantic busts on out with these hidden gems here on iTunes people will snap 'em up!
