Editors’ Notes In late 2014, Legacy Recordings issued a 12-disc set entitled Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble: The Complete Epic Recordings Collection, which includes everything by the artist ever issued by the label. Previously, the sets had been divided as available on iTunes: studio albums, live albums, and this double set of Archives. It brings us back to the 1982 version of “Tin Pan Alley” and the 1984 versions of several others, an alternate version of “Stang’s Swang,” the 1985 version of “The Sky Is Crying,” the 1984 and 1989 versions of “Boot Hill,” and several stabs at Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing.”
