Mike Watt

Mike Watt is so versatile, he can fit himself into any sound without ever losing his character, a true pioneer and ever-evolving artist, yeah Watt!

Why not tap your foot (when your foot has the nerve to follow)?

This album is acoustically driven, with overt electronica influences that add color to the basic rhythmic structure held together by Cedric's locked drum patterns and acoustic harmonies. Mike Watt adds great depth with his some amazing bass work that compliments and intermixes well with the other musicians. Instead of simply hearing Watt, one feels his presence as well when he finishes musical lines that the other musicians begin. This album is an encased little universe which isn't to be underestimated- I'd like to hear more work by this group. They have established a presence as a rhythmic powerhouse, and I'd like to know where they'd like to take us next. This is an excellent production.
