Ignore people who search for the far past

There are only two reviews so far on this album. One appreciative of the long lasting power of the album and the other still upset that the band's first guitarist, who left his child before it was even finished, isn't playing when he hasnt been in Suede for twenty years. Richard Oakes still holds the reigns on guitar duties for Dog Man Star's live renditions and he does a fabulous job. The album is performed very well for the band being twenty years in and while there are a few hitches (like Brett Anderson's signing) overall this is a greatly performed toast to this band's greatest album.

Sounded even better

I bought Dog Man Star as a CD when I was a teenager and fell in love with Suede since. I cannot believe how time flew and this live album sounds amazing with fresh takes on classics from that album. #love

Sorry but who wants to hear Richard Oaks try and play Bernard's music? As far as I'm concerned Dog Man Star has never been performed live. Perhaps that's part of its mystique.
