Alt Therapy Session 1: Disillusion - EP

Emanuel’s buttery-smooth voice is the main attraction on his short but sweet debut, Alt Therapy Session 1: Disillusion. The production throughout the three-track EP is largely made up of soothing piano-driven arrangements that allow the Ontario singer to imbue each song with tonal and emotional texture, and he rises to the occasion. On the lead single, “Need You,” and “Thought It’d Be Easy,” his voice soars, layering on top of itself and bathing the track in reverb, while “Addiction” offers a casual contrast to the ballads.
