Good Grief is built to make you move. The sophomore album from eclectic New Yorkers Lucius bubbles with kinetic energy. “Almighty Gosh” surges forth with frantic percussion and ’80s-inspired synths, while the explosive “Something About You” thumps along to an unforgettable chorus. But the band take a few breathers between the glitzy indie pop numbers (see: the dramatic “My Heart Got Caught On Your Sleeve” and folk-inflected, windswept “Dusty Trails”), making Good Grief as well-suited to your living room as the dance floor.
