Ratings and Reviews
One of the best rock bands out there
It is a pleasure listening to these guys. After listening to these few songs it appears their follow up album will not dissapoint. If you are a rock and roll fan and our claim there are no good new rock bands out now think again. Do yourself a favor and buy this album as well as The Record Company's previous album. After you listen to them and do yourself another favor and see The Record Company live. I have seen them live twice and the word to describe them is AWESOME!!!!!
Not ROCK, Jazz/Blues? It's all good!
I find most of 'The Record Company' recordings don't follow a 'rock' formula, more 'rock-'blues', but that's cool. I only enjoyed about 5 cuts from the album, but those in itself warrant a good rating. I've paired it with American Authors, Kyle Parks' 'Blue Roof Sessions' and other funky tunes which follow 'Country' funk or Jazz. Often, I think it's crazy, the genres albums are categorized in, but that's most likely because I perceive music as genres/sub-genres. If you go at this, looking for 'rock' music, you're not going to find it - think outside the box!
Amazing!
Saw these guys in concert opening for Bob Seger and they were awesome!! I’m obsessed
