Modern Symphony

Every now and then we come across something so inoculous and shy, that we overlook it in favor for more bright, loud or catchy things. this album is such a one. There are no wimsical one-line chorus riffs, no screaming of awsome vocals, but what it lacks in showiness, it makes up for in its crafting. More of a modern orchestra piece than just random songs set under an album title. Explosions In The Sky create a lasting symphony to be enjoyed with quiet elagance among friends, or in the peaceful solitude of ones earbuds.

If you aren't hooked by the end of "The Birth and Death of the Day", you aren't human.
