All Night Live, Vol 1

The musical magic of Mavericks comes alive when they meet with the enthusiasm of their live audiences. Recorded during Fall of 2015 at several signature venues including Austin City Limits and the venerable Tarrytown Music Hall in New York, the album brings the best collaboration of musician and devotees together in a summit of ecstatic celebration.

Fire the Recording Engineer

Let me first say that The Mavs are one of my favorite bands. I've been going to see them perform since the early 90's and their live performances NEVER disappoint. But when I listened to this album the first thing that struck me was how bad the recording quality was. It sounds like someone recorded this on an iPhone from a seat in the balcony! Did Raul Malo get a chance to listen to this before it was released? I would expect his standards to be much higher. This recording does not do his brilliant voice justice, nor is it a fair representation of the bands talent. And what really confuses me is the fact that they have 2 previous live albums (It's Now! It's Live! and Live From Austin) that have excellent recording quality.
I'm disappointed.

Poor sound quality

Hard to listen to an album when the quality of the sound is a major distraction. I'd been anxiously awaiting this release, very disappointed in the sound quality.
