Corkscrew riffs splinter throughout the metallic "Loser" and "Fair Weather Friend," while the cathartic “Burnout” delivers a pummeling sonic breakdown as vocalist Caleb Shomo growls about shedding away past negativity. Likewise, the pained "Sick of Me" pits tornadoing guitar chords against a pensive reflection on self-loathing and anxiety, hinting at the surprisingly therapeutic edge behind these dark, turbulent songs.
