Will this ever get a Deluxe treatment?
How I wish to see Forever Young and Utopia in a remastered album including all maxi singles, restored art work. And dare I dream, instrumental tracks!!

This was my only exposure to Alpahville in the 80's and it brings back lots of fond memories of my early days. Yes, it's a little kitschy, but who cares? That was the 80's! Nonetheless, the vocal orchestrations are beautiful, especially on IAO and Afternoons In Utopia. I will have to check out some of their other works, but for now, this collection will do whenever I want to reminisce about my early adulthood.

I liked it then, I like it now

When this came out I played it start-finish. "Red Rose", "Sensations" and "Dance with Me" make me want to dance... er, drive fast. "Universal Daddy" has wacky lyrics and suffers a bit of 80's lock, but it's so dang catchy you'll be slapping your steering-wheel to the beat.

Some of the best songs on this album are the slower ones. I used to lay back and "contemplate deep thoughts," as teenagers do, when I played this tape - yes, I said tape.
There are a couple of weird ones in there though; "20th Cent" and "Lady Bright." They take a while to get used to but eventually they grow on you (and you stop skipping them).

I forgot how much I liked this band. I always thought they were ahead of their time
