I could be productive, but no. Instead I have spent the last 30 minutes sitting here listening to the various samples of each song. Some two or three times. Why? This album is going to be good. Their are at least three tracks that sound brilliant and about half of them are simply great. This has been a good stretch for electronic music. DEADMAU5’s new album was pretty good (there was only one good EDM track on it “Pets” but the classical and electronica was all very good) Trentmoller’s last album had some real high points (markedly “Hazed” and the untitled post classical piece that is on the same file). And Aphex Twin has a new album, which is supposed to be "more accessible” according to the man himself, it will be released the week before this album. Oh yes, back to Gui Borratto. I like the first track (or at least the sample) very much. Everything after Indigo sounds very compelling, the previously mentioned “brilliant” tracks occur here at the end of the album. Gui is on tour now, I will be seeing him when he stops here Denver at the end of the month. Looking forward to what will be a good show and what sounds like a great album :-)

Repetitive Each Track

Just same notes repeating over and over and over. The creative variation is quite lacking. Can get bored after one take......:(
