11 Songs, 46 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

British dance-pop mavens Everything Everything have always embodied the spirit of their name, tackling so many musical ideas at once that they induce a dizzying sense of excitement. On A Fever Dream, their fourth album, the band tighten up their grooves without losing their wild sense of unpredictability. Songs like “Night of the Long Knives” and “Desire” bounce back and forth between airtight rhythms and freewheeling guitar freak-outs, with Jonathan Higgs’ acrobatic vocals reaching high up into the stratosphere.

Next Level

Everything Everything push their unique frantic melodic spin to the next level on this album. Really great, memorable songs and stellar production allows this album to feel dark and immediate at the same time. The album takes some more artistic turns, but it never feels like filler, as the songs are so well crafted.

My favorite album of the year by far.

Another Fantastic Album!!!

Everything Everything is the most important rock band to emerge since Radiohead, IMO. Don't sleep on them. A band like this only comes around once every 15 to 20 years. Buy their stuff. Go see them live. You won't be disappointed!
