Bringing Back Flower Power

I loved the film and was excited to find the soundtrack with all the songs I enjoyed while watching. My favorite is "Eldorado Canyon"—it just takes me to the mountains of Boulder, CO and I always picture the band jamming out in the wilderness. Magic Music's sound epitomizes the spirit of flower power back when people wrote music to be free.

Echoes of the past that sound fresh as ever

I can't get over Cedar's Sigh. What a beautiful reminder and call to action to recognize, acknowledge, appreciate, and commune with the nature around us. I really liked this film, and it's a pleasure to have these sweet, simple songs to listen to wherever we go. Cosmic Jingle gets a little hippie dippie for me, and a lot of the album covers well worn love tropes, but for the most part, you get a glimpse into a band who lived the life they sang about, not just idealized, and the authenticity is both enjoyable and refreshing.
