A definite change for the better

The Klaypex "formula" was IMO becoming a bit redundant. With their new album, however, they've really changed it up and explored a lot more than what they were confining themselves to before, and it sounds great. Some of the songs are a bit obnoxious and/or redundant, like "Together" and "Follow Me," but that could just be my personal taste clouding up what others may very well enjoy. Overall, a lot of greatness in the new album. Definitely worth a buy.

I Did NOT Expect This

First Album: Amazing!
Second Album: Decent.
"I Walk Alone" Single: …What?
"Oil Spill" Single: Oh no, I'm starting to lose faith… :(

Third Upcoming Album: Blew my mind. Incredible.
Great music, and even better progress. 5 stars.

Genre Surfing

Fans of Klaypex since their beginnings need only listen to "Informative Broadcast" in its entirety to realize what the group's after with the release of this album. After releasing two albums that focused more upon the bass-heavy, head-banger style inherent in dubstep, Anything Goes is a perfect example of an emerging future music group expanding their horizons whilst proving that they are well-rounded. However, it goes without saying that there is no surprise that the dynamic duo of Klaypex would release an album as solid-sounding as this, with clean and creative beats that will please any electronic/dance fans. Fans of the original Klaypex style may be surprised at the diversion from the traditional formula, especially apparent in tracks like "Hava" and "1941", but this is truly a solid album that is worth giving a listen to for both longtime fans of Klaypex, and any music-lovers looking for a unique electronic/dance experience.
