Big Bank

Big Bank

If there’s one thing Quality Control Music signee Bankroll Freddie wants you to know after listening to his Big Bank mixtape, it’s that having money isn’t new to him. “Pee ain’t have to buy my chain, I VVS’d my own neck/Coach ain’t bought me not one watch, I Rollie’d up my own wrist,” he says on “Set the Record Straight.” True to his name, the Arkansas-hailing MC’s aesthetic is money, and you’re as sure to hear about it across Big Bank as you are to see it on him, the MC flanked by armfuls of cash in most every available snap of him on the net. Freddie makes trap music in the purest sense, Big Bank furthering the legend he began sowing on 2020’s From Trap to Rap. Production on the project is handled by names like Bandplay, Drumma Boy, and Heavyindachevy, but it’s Big Bank’s star-studded list of guesting MCs (Megan Thee Stallion, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, and Young Dolph, among others) that should make Bankroll feel like this latest route to the money is the most legitimate.
