A South Central native with plenty of insider knowledge, he shouts his credentials with his hand over his heart on tracks like “Apartment” and “You Are Who You Are.” Not merely here to spit bars, he croons amid the hedonistic bounce of “Bang My Line” with O.T. Genasis and thrives over the ’80s electro boogie of “Time” with Young Thug. The support he gets from local legends like The Game and Snoop Dogg across On God makes this an essential listen.
