Music with a message

It’s good to hear young artists who deliver a message with their music.

I Feel Like a Proud Aunty

I’ve never met Domani, but watching him grow up on his family’s reality show talking about and showing his desire to write and rap to now (where he has released his debut album) makes me feel so proud! It’s hard to describe how good this album really is. Personally, I am a big fan of J. Cole. I love his flow but most importantly I love the way he tells a story and how thoughtful he is in his writing and delivery. Domani’s artistry is reminiscent of J. Cole. I hate to compare artists though. The thing about it is Domani has his own story and his own voice and we get to hear, feel, and overall experience it in this project. I love the instrumentation, his rap flow, and his sing flow. I love that he took his time and gave listeners an authentic project that I am certain he was satisfied with. The album is GOOD music (so melodic)✔️GOOD lyrics (well thought out and meaningful)✔️, and GOOD vocals✔️. He has a really good voice! The texture of it is just right. Sometimes an artist’s message is deeper than their voice, or more serious than their voice but this time is divine for Domani. #TimeWillTell and this time is telling me it’s your time Domani! From a distant aunt who feels too young for that so call me Big Sista Day-Juh-Dee😄. Get this album ya’ll!
