Highlights include Northlane’s adrenaline-fueled version of “Anthem for the Year 2000,” Ocean Grove’s manic take on the titular “Spawn (Again)” and Storm the Sky’s spectacular “Emotion Sickness,” with textured guitars replacing the original strings, and William Jarratt’s vocals more than doing Johns’ melody—and range—justice.
