A classic horror-movie atmosphere permeates the album with tolling bells, chilling piano intros, and even an Omen-esque backing choir on “A Stare Bound in Stone.” Their signature galloping riffs abound on the ripping title track and the vicious “In Death They Shall Burn” as frontman Tomas Lindberg’s howl conjures the abyss.
