Majestic rants on full throttle, with a sprinkle of straight-from-the-street messaging, make up the centrepiece of Laxmi Bomb’s first full-length album. While songs like “A*****e” maintain a straightforward brashness, the electro-pop foursome question authority on nearly every track. The screwball tone is sustained throughout on tracks like “Suggagandhi” and “Donnie Bosco”, amid eccentric synths, vintage keys and breathless rap vocals by lead singer and frontman Keegan Pereira.
