Exceptional Music, Real Country Music
I remember when George Strait stole "Too Many Exes in Texas" from David and turned it into "All My Exes Live in Texas." He paid David not to release the song while he considered whether to buy it or not, and then "rewrote" it. You can hear the original here!
Other great songs are "Brand New Day", "White Lace and Levis", "You Didn't Have a Heart", "Last of the Cowboys", "Rodeo Fever", and "Remember the Alamo." And for a good laugh, "Big Time Bertha" is hilarious!
They don't play country music like they used to. This is a real Texan writing real country music. Hope you give David a listen.
